Building Independence at Nodaway County Services provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities that empower and promote independent living through independent living skill development and building community connections.
PA Services provide personal care and supports for people within their homes and communities.
CI Services are community based services that assist/teach community participation through connecting individuals to resources and activities within their communities.
Individualized skill development
ISD is in-home and community-based service guided towards helping a person develop necessary skills to live successfully by using specialized teaching strategies and adaptations to strive towards independent living.
MEET THE TEAM
Josh Good rejoined the AGH/NCS team in 2021. A graduate of Northwest Missouri State, Josh has a long history of serving others in paid and volunteer roles. ‘Be the tide that raises all ships’ resonates with Josh, as he uses his experience in problem-solving and servant leadership to make other’s lives better.
Kayen Van Hulzen, team lead
Kayen Van Hulzen joined the AGH/NCS team in 2021 after moving back to the Midwest. Prior to starting with NCS, Kayen resided in California where she graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College and received her credential as a Registered Behavior Technician. As an RBT, Kayen worked with children who have autism and other developmental disabilities. Kayen has a passion for serving others in her community, especially those with special needs.
