BEHAVIOR SERVICES
Providing individualized support to reduce problem behaviors and help individuals live their best quality of life by building skills socially significant to them.
We are a team consisting of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), ABA Specialists, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). We provide services to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in their natural environments. Our team provides services in the 7-county area (Nodaway, Atchison, Andrew, Buchanan, Dekalb, Gentry, & Harrison) as well as the Kansas City area.
What do we do?
Our Behavior Services department utilizes evidence-based practices to understand and change socially significant behaviors.
Our approach is to create individualized behavior change programs through the following process:
-
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses the individual to determine the function of their behavior.
-
We create a behavior change program that decreases negative behavior and enhances positive behavior.
-
Our experts implement the program with the individual and their support team.
-
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work directly with individuals and their support teams to ensure that the treatment plans are implemented correctly.
